Refreshing Your Cache

Refreshing Your Cache

Your website has a caching software integrated. This means that it periodically (1-2 days) the software takes a snapshot of the website and that is what is presented to users.

Why do we this?

Websites are very big and full of code. It can take a while for it to load and users don’t like this. Which is why we integrate the cache as it loads in a jiffy and makes users happier. PLEASE NOTE: Your updates may take up to 24hrs for your changes to show.

Need it online straight away?

There is a special button you can use to make it show straight away.

When you have finished all your editing and saved all the changes – no matter where you are on the website look to the top black menu bar and move your mouse over WPFC (some websites may just say CACHE)– from the dropdown click ‘Delete Cache’. This will force the software to take a new snapshot of the website.

Still can’t see your changes?

Sorry this must be frustrating for you! Now it’s your computer’s fault I’m afraid. Computers do pretty much the same thing when you visit a website to make re-visiting the website easier. You will need to delete the cache on your phone or computer. Visit www.refreshyourcache.com for instructions
