Awwward Nomination for Finnworld

Following our previous Awwward nomination we were thrilled to be approved for another in early October.

One of our newest website Finnworld went live in early Summer 2017.

The website features a fully custom build with easy to use editing area. Perhaps the class of this website can’t be seen by the user, but by the editor. To the exterior our client wanted to capture the clean beauty on Finland. There was a clear focus on usability and the ability for the website user to define who they were to get the information they wanted.

Unusually this website is not aimed at the end user of the service, but at the providers of the service in Finnland. The goal of the website is to convey how Finnworld can help their businesses to reach new markets with Finnworld’s services. When the project began, the real work was to identify with the website user, if you are thinking about getting a new website, it’s THE biggest suggestion we would make! Knowing who will be using the website, for what purpose with an end goal is vital to develop your message and their website journey.

The journey for the Travel Suppliers begins on the homepage, they can identify with their messages on the homepage, which is purposefully split with key benefits. From there the Supplier page demonstrates all of the reasons why working with Finnworld will help their company, with examples of tours, testimonials from happy suppliers and a quick easy contact form. There is also a brochure for suppliers to download and keep, this will be developed in future into a full package and video development is another key future development Finnworld are looking in to.

For Operators, Finnworld wanted to capture how working with them on a totally free basis could help win them new customers (the end user) – like you and me! Who would be interested in the tours, packages etc. and book with them.

Finnworld introduces the suppliers to the operators – with their knowledge of the area, end users and connections in the travel industry we look forward to following Finnworld’s success and undoubtedly the success of the companies they work with.

Awwward Score

The Awwards chief users awarded an average of 6.40, but we were especially happy from the straight 8 from Jelvix in Israel.
